England Again

So I made it back to England again today, despite some turbulence over northern Canada. Other than that, the flight was relatively uneventful. The girl sitting next to me got nervous in the turbulence and made me talk to her. She was from Italy, and her English was good but not perfect. At one point in our discussion we were talking about the different ages you can do stuff like drive and vote and everything in the US, and she had apparently never heard that our drinking age was 21 but our voting age was 18. So her comment was, "Wait, you vote, and then you drink?"

Meanwhile I'm having a little crisis because I found out that the big climbing competition for universities in the UK, BUSA (that I came in tenth at four years ago) is on the same day as the OUMC Centenary Ball that I already bought tickets for! Bad planning. I may have to miss BUSA, which would be very sad.

I do not believe your plane went over "northern Canada" (like the North Pole). Eastern Canada is different then Nothern Canada.

You can also join the Army at 18. But Nika never did.

1. First off "BUSA" is now "BUCS".
2. There are seperate morning and afternoon session - morning is done by 1PM.
3. You are going to have to get your entire CUMC teams to do the morning - possible? Else defect to the OUMC.

Yes, there was a rant in the email we got about that about how BUSA is now called BUCS. Where are you getting your information from? And do you know where it's being held? I don't think I'm going to be able to convince all of CUMC ... but I can try.
