Over the weekend, Nick and I saw the new
Angels & Demons movie, which was fun because it was shot all over Rome and Nick and I kept seeing all the places we had been to when we
visited back in December. Besides just St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica, we saw the Sistine Chapel (presumably they used a set piece for that), the Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Navona and the Fountain of the Four Rivers, and a lot of aerial shots of Rome and Vatican City. Fun!
It got so-so reviews and mombee is stroppy about going.
ReplyDeleteIt was okay. There wasn't anything better there. Plus we got to see all the Rome stuff, and I would start making hissing sounds at Nick every time something that we saw showed up, which I'm sure annoyed lots of people around us, not just Nick.
